Transfer Hatches are designed and constructed from a flexible format and offer a range of operations for the individual user to select their particular requirement from including floor and wall mounted types.

Manufactured from stainless steel, the standard hatch unit is fitted with either two air tight hinged doors that close against replaceable rubber seals or vertically sliding doors using bristle seals. The doors have polycarbonate fronts providing clear visual access from both sides of the hatch and are fully interlocked to prevent simultaneous opening.

Additional features, such as air flushing and 2-way communications systems can be offered as extras if required. Installation options range from free standing to built-in.

Automatic Operation
Hatch doors are operated pneumatically via push buttons from an optional integral silent air compressor.

Finger trap detection, interlocking and status indicators are provided by the built-in controller

Interlocks
Mechanical interlocks use a simple push/pull or rotating knob to provide a simple yet effective operation.Electrical interlocks use door closed sensing to prevent opposite door from being opened. Visual indicators and alarms come as standard.Electrical interlocks can be linked to air pressure sensors to prevent door opening in the event of insufficient differential air pressure between rooms.

Fire Rated
Wired glass door panels are used to increase the fire rating of a hatch to meet customers fire prevention requirements.
